The timetable above is designed to give members an approximate idea of where and when to expect controllers online. Some controllers may choose to post, in advance, their availability to control. This is not like an event sign-up: controllers will do their best to be available when they have posted, but may not always be online at those times. Controller availability may change with little to no advance notice. Furthermore, even if there is no controller signed-up, drop-in ATC may still be available if a controller's availability has changed. Do not assume there will be no ATC online simply because no controllers are listed for a given day.

Controllers will specify whether or not they are actively training  or are scheduled for an over-the-shoulder competency examination. You may wish support this controller's attempt at achieving certification by flying within controlled airspace.

If no end time is specified, the controller is planning to stay online indefinitely (usually until most pilots have signed off). An asterisk (*) beside a controller's name indicates that the controller would happily give up the position s/he has signed up for to another controller. If a controller has indicated a position as "undecided", it means s/he will be online to control, but is not yet sure where.
