Welcome. Boston Virtual ATC (BVA/BVATC) is a community driven on blurring the lines between simulation and reality.  We're the top destination in the FSX multiplayer realm for realistic and enriching air traffic control (ATC).  We strive for making flight simulation as real as it gets. Focused on Boston's Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport (KBOS) but rapidly expanding throughout the Northeast, we reguarly cover both the Boston (ZBW) and New York (ZNY) ARTCCs, and and have consistent ATC coverage throughout the Northeast.  Our premiere group of pilots and controllers work together to make BVA an exceptional community, and a great place to enjoy and learn about ATC and aviation from the comfort of your home.  Whether you're new to the hobby, looking for a place to learn, or just want to enjoy a good time away from those real-world airliners, BVA is your destination.  Join us today - we guarantee you won't regret the decision.

We Offer:   Realistic Air Traffic Control provided at many airports through the Northeast including Boston, LaGuardia, Kennedy, Newark, Portland (MA), Nantucket, Bradley, and many more.  We feature many aspects of ATC from clearance delivery right up to center, and supplement our air traffic control with a friendly and helpful group of pilots.  We also have a great group of military aviation enthusiasts operating from the Otis AFB.  Our server is online 24/7 and features real-world weather/season modeling.  In addition to running peak hours from 7pm - 1am ET during weekdays (weekends normally see activity throughout the day), our famous events are always a good time.

Our Guarantee:  Your favorite destination for a realistic and professional online flying experience.  Come fly the friendly skies with us!  We're growing by leaps and bounds daily, and have quickly moved past the 1, 000 member benchmark.  Today, BVA represents a global flight simulation community with members from around the world.

Our Expectations:  Please come prepared with necessary charts, arrival/departure routes, and a list of ATC frequencies.  Once you're a registered user, you'll be able to get all the information you need right here on this website from our New Pilot Center.  If you're a novice aviator and aren't comfortable reading/understanding these charts, don't worry - we'll be happy to help you out; we want to make flying realistic and fun for you.  Many of our controllers and pilots have experience in the real-world; and even those that don't will be more than happy to work with your through our Share the Cockpit program, or more informally during our sessions.

 Our Philosophy Minimize

Our peak hours, on weekdays between 7 PM - 1 AM ET, are the best time to fly if you’re looking for a rich & complex ATC framework.  However, with a 24/7 server, pilots from around the world have the choice of when and where to fly.  Events are also a great time to experience the thrill of real-world ATC. From our Regional Circuit event (which features a full slate of ATC at two fully-staffed airports) to our "Dance in New York" to the brand-new "Domestic Journey", there's something that will tickle your fancy. For the military boys, our dedicated group of military pilots based at the Otis AFB (which consists mostly of Air Force and Military veterans) is available when you just need to get into an F18 and fire up the afterburners.

 History Minimize

Our session traces its roots to Nov 2006, so we're certainly not new to the flight simulation scene.  What started out as a hastily-crated multiplayer lobby with several novice controllers and a few pilots quickly exploded into a phenomenon that today includes more than 1, 000 members and several fully-certified Center controllers.  The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and as word continues to spread, our possibilites for growth are endless.

Riding on the realistic atmosphere and professionalism of our controllers and pilots, we have expanded into the New York area and expect to continue our expansion throughout the Northeast.  Getaway events take us from the most intense conditions a pilot can experience like the approach into Aspen to the warmth of St. Maarten Island and back again.  As our session grows through word-of-mouth and pilot feedback improves our session, we hope to continue the solid growth we have been experiencing over our history.

We continue to rely on the professionalism and realistic atmosphere that is a trademark of our sessions today. Our Virtual Airlines and exciting Events keep things moving at an incredible pace. So - what are you waiting for? Join Today.
